This weekend the 2ND Street District will host its second annual White Linen Night. The ticketed block party occurs this Saturday, August 2nd from 6-9pm and will feature bites from some of the 2nd Street District’s best restaurants, including The Bonneville, Cru, Malaga, and many more.
High above downtown Austin, residents of The Austonian luxury condominiums are afforded one of the most exclusive and beautiful environments for working out. From The Austonian Fitness Center on the utmost floor of the building, residents can watch the sunrise over downtown Austin from a yoga mat in Studio 56, or see the sun set over the sloping hills of the Hill Country from a treadmill.
Since 2009, The Austonian has been an icon within the downtown landscape as the tallest building in sight. The Austonian has seen Austin blossom from its vantage point at the corner of Congress and Second Street – and today, residents live in the middle of one of the most active and vibrant parts of the city. Downtown Austin is on the brink of a significant expansion too, with the construction of the Seaholm District, the Green Water Treatment redevelopment, the new Central Library, and the opening of The Boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake, which means residents of The Austonian will have even more restaurants, shopping and entertainment options just a few minutes’ walking distance from home.
As the tallest building in Austin, views from The Austonian of the city, Lady Bird Lake and the surrounding Hill Country are singular and exceptional. Just one block north of the lake and a few blocks south of the Capitol, The Austonian could not have a better location for appreciating the beauty of Austin or the surrounding Central Texas landscape; and ones’ line of sight stretches unobstructed, as far as the eye can see. Words fall short when conveying these awe-inspiring views, so The Austonian has updated their website with new photography of what things look like from the heights of The Austonian. And it is absolutely breathtaking.
Bespoke, signature and curated are some of the best words to describe the essence and quality of GREER Interior Design’s newly designed interiors at The Austonian downtown luxury condominiums. For these new units for sale at The Austonian, GREER Interiors design principals Lindsay Maki and Jennifer Hartmann developed four distinct palettes or design styles inspired by the kinds of buyers they’ve seen interested in urban luxury products – with every detail of these units carefully selected and crafted by the two design doyennes.
