Ballet Austin’s highly anticipated annual social event – Fête & fête*ish – is set to take place this evening, Friday, September 21st at The Driskill Hotel. Fête & fête*ish 2012 will feature food and drink inspired by the well-loved ballet The Nutcracker. Several courses will be served to guests amidst the holiday-themed décor that will adorn the 125-year-old historic downtown hotel.
Divided into a sit-down dinner (Fête) and an after-party (fête*ish), the event is structured to allow appreciation and recognition of key individuals that contribute to the advancement of Ballet Austin and also to invite ballet and dance enthusiasts to join in the celebration of Ballet Austin and dance in the city. Guests of both Fête & fête*ish can enjoy live entertainment provided by DJ Spinderella, The Invincible Czars and Mandy Lauderdale, a popular cabaret jazz artist.
The fundraising event benefits the Ballet Austin Foundation, established to ensure the future and sustainability of Ballet Austin. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit the Ballet Austin Fête 2012 website.
