From conception, The Austonian was destined to be a legacy tower; poised 683’ over Congress Avenue and the ever-evolving city it is home to Austin’s most luxurious residences. With the latest reveal of the available custom penthouses, The Austonian continues to deliver new expectations for ultra-luxury living in Austin, Texas.
Austin has changed dramatically over the decade. Gone is the sleepy Congress Avenue; it is now thriving with five-star restaurants, lively nightlife and chic shopping. New residents are moving in with the expectation of luxury and sophistication. Thinking beyond the demands of the time, The Austonian developers designed with world-class finishes and amenities throughout the building, setting the tone for the progress of Austin’s urban revitalization.
After years of planning, the long-awaited penthouses are finally available on the top three residential floors (52-54). Originally intended to be sold as full-floor shells, the market demanded the luxury of an exquisitely crafted, move-in ready residence with no downtime. To fulfill this need, renowned McWalters Collaborative to design was brought in to custom design penthouse suites as distinctive as the owners who will inhabit them.
The penthouses have been built based on several years’ feedback from Austonian owners and prospective owners in regards their favorite luxuries. All include top-of-the-line chef’s appliances by Miele, Viking and Sub-Zero, fixtures from Waterworks and Kalista. Each features it’s own custom textures, patterns and designer lighting from the likes of Kate Spade to Kelly Wearstler. Floorplans include spaces for both entertaining and privacy, with spacious proportions even in the secondary rooms. Every finish throughout the dwellings is of the utmost quality, installed by the best craftspeople.
While the Penthouses exude a similar quality and luxury, each has its own style. Designer Lindsay Maki approached every unit as a unique work of art and selected a suite of finishes for each that combine to make a distinctive statement. One unit features a cool, sophisticated palette of buffed grey travertine floors, creamy marble and silvered grasscloth. Another gives a nod to tradition with a creamy backdrop of bleached-oak floors, mosaic marble accents, hand-painted wallpaper and even a vintage-style Viking stove. A walnut accent wall and brass fixtures add a sense of classic glamour to a third unit, while a slightly edgy design featuring metallic wallpaper and sleek European cabinetry offers a different option.
Schedule a visit to the Penthouses at the Austonian and discover which best reflects your style. Whichever unit calls to you, you’ll know you’re living at the pinnacle of luxury in Austin.
