It’s that time of year again- Austin City Limits Music Festival is back in downtown Austin and it’s shaping up to be a good one. With temperatures cooling off just in time for the first weekend and General Admission tickets sold out, music lovers from Austin and around the world will flock to downtown Austin starting tomorrow to enjoy one of Austin’s signature events. With the festival located in The Austonian’s backyard, residents of The Austonian luxury condominiums can enjoy everything the festival has to offer, without any hassle.

Though regular weekend passes have sold out, VIP and Platinum passes to the festival are still available. These exclusive tickets are the way to truly experience the festival in style, with luxuries like access to the ACL Festival Artist Lounge, access to the Platinum Lounge and VIP Grove, a private, air-conditioned tent, complimentary catered food, exclusive viewing areas for the two main stages, and more.

If you already have tickets, parking is one of the biggest hassles for festival goers, but Zilker Park is just a quick trip away from The Austonian and there are many convenient ways for residents to get there. For VIP and Platinum ticket holders, VIP parking passes are available to ensure spots closest to the festival, and there is a private, Platinum-only shuttle service available from downtown. For convenient, alternative transportation, ride service programs like Uber and Lyft will also be available throughout the festival. For a more eco-friendly method, the park is a short bike ride away on the downtown Austin bike trails.

If you’d rather keep your distance from the festival mayhem, residents of The Austonian have great views of Zilker Park from the West side of the building, and you may even be able to hear a few tunes from out on the balconies. So head up to The Austonian Club or Fitness Center anytime this weekend or next to keep tabs on the festival happenings from above.
