Tonight, October 14th, experience what it’s like to taste a work of art. Art Bites, presented by the Russell Collection of Fine Art, Cadillac and CultureMap Austin, will be an evening featuring renowned Austin chefs’ culinary interpretations of works of fine art.
Each of the nine chefs participating in Art Bites will prepare food items inspired by nine pieces of art from the Russell Collection. The event, hosted at the Russell Collection Fine Arts Gallery on West Sixth Street, will have chefs from some of Austin’s favorite restaurants, including The Austonian’s neighbor Swift’s Attic, Café Josie, Ramen Tatsu-Ya, Sway, and more. Each chef will create a culinary representation that coordinates directly with a piece of art in a
feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. It’s an opportunity to take a culinary tour of both Austin’s finest restaurants and fine art.
A portion of ticket proceeds and art sales will go to the Austin Food and Wine Alliance. The event will be taking place October 14th from 6pm-8pm. Tickets are $50, and available here.
